Behavioral Health & Community Based Services
A Hope of Faith provides comprehensive behavioral health and community-based services for youth, adults, and families across North Carolina. Led by licensed clinical social workers, our team delivers person-centered, trauma-informed care designed to promote stability, independence, and emotional well-being. Through evidence-based therapy, intensive in-home support, substance use treatment, and community-based programs, we meet individuals where they are — at home, in the community, and in life. Our goal is to strengthen families, build coping skills, and create pathways toward long-term healing and success.

Services Descriptions

Intensive In-Home (IIH)
Intensive In-Home Services provide structured, therapeutic support to children and adolescents experiencing significant emotional or behavioral challenges. Services are delivered in the home and community to stabilize crises, strengthen family relationships, and prevent out-of-home placements.

Peer Support (Adults)
Peer Support connects adults living with mental health or substance use challenges to trained peers who have lived experience. This service promotes recovery, independence, and community integration through mentorship, advocacy, and skill-building support.

Respite Services-1915 (i)
Respite Services offer temporary relief to caregivers of individuals with behavioral health needs. Through structured supervision and support, respite helps reduce caregiver stress while ensuring continuity of care in a safe environment.

Outpatient Therapy (OPT) Adult & Children
Outpatient Therapy provides individualized counseling for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns. Services may include individual, family, or group therapy using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.

Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP- Adults)
SAIOP provides structured substance use treatment for adults who require more support than traditional outpatient therapy but do not need inpatient care. The program includes group therapy, education, relapse prevention planning, and recovery-focused support.

Community Living Support (CLS- Adults & Children)
Community Living Supports help individuals develop the skills needed to function independently in their homes and communities. Services focus on daily living skills, coping strategies, social development, and community integration.

Community Support Team (CST- Adults)
